 | What we do Who we work with | CSM has led India’s foremost public engagement initiative on climate change, Climate Challenge India, since early 2007; mobilising business, city leaders, NGOs and opinion formers on the need for a pro-active agenda on climate change. At the end of 2007, the campaign was recognized as one of the world’s top five campaigns on climate change and profiled at the UN climate conference in Bali. CSM has subsequently, in partnership with E3G, worked closely with world leaders such as Al Gore and his team on India issues and advised a range of political leaders on the new climate agenda for India. CSM has developed a number of innovative platforms for business leadership on climate change issues and works closely with the World Economic Forum, World Business Council on Sustainable Development, UN Caring for Climate initiative on a pro-climate agenda with a focus on Indian business.
In May 2009, CSM launched its film In Good Company profiling Indian corporate leadership on climate change at the World Business Summit on Climate Change in Copenhagen. The film has been screened at schools, colleges and town halls across the country and brings a new force – green Indian entrepreneurs and industrialists – into view for the first time. The film trailer and details on interviewees can be found on the film’s micro-site: www.ingoodcompany.csmworld.org
CSM publishes the regular 'Who's Who in India on Climate Change', hosts the country’s first Portal on climate change www.indiaclimateportal.org and broadcasts the Talking Climate interview series with leading figures.
