Viva has been associated with CSM since 2007 and is now a part of the senior management team responsible for finance and programme development. She brings strong managerial, interpersonal and leadership skills and has specific responsibility for promoting CSM and its work in India. 

Viva leads on CSM's work on social enterprise, with a view to understanding its impacts on poverty and social transformation. She has also been behind CSM’s work on sustainable coffee, developing partnerships with growers groups such as the Karnataka Growers Federation (KGF)

Viva has a Post Graduate Certificaton in Environment Management from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in the United Kingdom, with a focus on environmental economics, climate change and development.

She continues to be based in Bangalore – the city where she has lived now for 13 years and which she pretty much considers home today.
